“Let us find inner freedom in each lucky moment that we encounter, like a sun-basking butterfly that finds peace on a cherry blossom petal.” ― Erik Pevernagie

I was delighted to see the first cherry blossom in bloom on my dog walk, only to walk then meet a friend for coffee and discover the streets were full of them and the season had been going for weeks. A lesson in that sometimes it's just our small corner of the world that distorts what's actually happening....

Lessons in perspective are everywhere....

And in a few weeks the pink petal snow will fall...

Linking with #NaturesNotes #GardenAffair  #FridayBliss #DND  #FloralFridayFoto (and there's a beautiful magnolia in bloom on my walk and I keep seeing photographers there doing photo shoots...such joy these things bring.)
I am in theory going away this weekend (given it's been postponed twice I'll believe it when I board the plane...) so I will be MIA on the comments this week...will try to catch up when I get back.

All Seasons is open from Friday through Wednesday 5pm, Sydney Time.

  1. I love to see the outburst of spring there. Here it is the autumn’s turn. The seasons around the world keep us flower lovers content throughout the year! Such pretty pictures.

  3. Your experience alerts me to the fact that our autumn migration season is already underway despite the calendar.

  5. I've been trying to find some spring blossoms here but haven't had much luck, if I'd still be in Northland there would be heaps everywhere.
