Then there was a down pour.
Then the blue skies came out as if it had always been sunny.
And then the grey clouds reappeared. 
Still a lovely day out, and a green snake leapt from the raised retaining wall to land with a slap on the ground less than a foot behind me. Alas I was too slow to whip out my phone and it had slithered away before I could get a shot - probably due to my involunatry squealing! That was definitely a first for me!

ReplyDeleteI was expecting a combination of rain, snow, thunder and sun such s we have here in Connecticut, but true you wrapped All Seasons up in one day. In Florida we had torpid green iguanas drop from the trees during a cold snap.

It seems that we had a bit of everything in January...50 degree temps, then temps in the single digits, snow and then rain and wind...All with very little Sun which is pretty normal here in NEPA in the Winter...This week, we are enjoying Seasonal weather with low's in the 20's and high's in the low 40's...I hope you are having a great week!!

What you wrote to me in your comment about how the rich don't get a big enough tax cut and that the media complains about it is really a bit strange... especially in times like these, when the rich in the world have doubled their assets "thanks" to Covid ...

The big joke is they are still getting a tax cut. It's just not as big as promised. 75% of the population on less than $190,000 will get a bigger tax cut than initially promised. It's ridiculous. (The media focus on it)

Snakes have a way to bring out the involuntary squealing! I've done it for lizards! Other than the snake, it looks like a lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteMy 8 year old grandson is interested in the snakes and spiders your way and asked if we could go for a visit....I told him that it is a very long way away and showed him on a map...Michelle
