Away from the waterways, I found this bird hunting for worms on the city street. It was actually quite successful, though my phone didn't caputre the action as they wriggled from his beak.
I guess the lesson is sometimes, even though you are in the wrong place, it's still where you are meant to be.
In this case, the single bird catches the worms.
Poor bird. I would hope to find worms in a garden more often and more safely than on city streets.
ReplyDeleteAt least he was successful! You got some really great shots; I'm kind of surprised the bird didn't fly away.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of the bird, I am glad it is finding food.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a wonderful week!
Wonderful capture , the bird gets its feast finally. Thanks for sharing with Garden Affair.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to ponder that the wrong place can still be where we were meant to be and that the worms were in the right place but at the wrong time. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat serie of photos.
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice surprise! And he didn't get scared off either which is good!
ReplyDeleteThat bird definitely knows how to survive. Love the photos!
