I’ve never seen an ostrich or an emu in its native habitat, but the rheas we saw in Patagonia made up for it. Those huge birds are amazing. best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Now I know the english word for this non-flying birds, which is called "Vogel Strauß" in german. My post is from 21...a magic canyon. All the best Violetta
I think ostriches are adorable... their long, lashed eyes! And how curious they are! I'll have to show you such funny giant birds at some point. Today you'll get whale pictures, I can imagine that you'll like them 😊 All the best from Austria, Traude https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2024/11/weltreise-2024-8-station-new-york-new.html
What a fascinating bird! I love how you’ve captured the ostrich's unique mix of elegance and oddity. It’s always interesting to see creatures like these, and the contrast between their beauty and strangeness is so striking. Thanks for sharing these beautiful shots!
The skinny vertical parts of the bird seem inadequate to support all the horizontal extravagance and weight. But the ostrich still walks with pride.
ReplyDeletelook great.....
