While my husband was away, I slept with the curtains open, something I love to do (but he doesn't). I love going to bed with the city twinkling and wake to this - a glorious array of colours painting the sky!
What is the point of a room with a view if you do not make the most of it? Waking to the pink clouds covered the day with an instant happiness. A dusting of magic and beauty that set the tone for the day - directing my thoughts to gratitude for small pleasures and my lips to a smile.
It is a good reminder that "Every day, a million miracles begin at sunrise."

You did a good job of capturing the pink color. My pink sky photos turn out on the orange side. We do not need shutters as the bedroom window looks out on an expanse of forests and hills. I can fall asleep watching the twinkling city lights 11 miles away.
The music sums up that beautiful Sunrise of great colours. Usually that means rain though..."Pink skies at night, sailors delight. Pink sky in morning, sailors take warning". Something like that. Regardless it is great
